General Notes: Husband - Alexander Taylor
He was reared to man's estate in Ireland, and there received a common school education. He turned his attention to agricultural pursuits in his boyhood days and continued at that occupation in his native land until 1857. He then went to Liverpool, from whence he took passage in a sailing vessel for New York City. He landed on June 12th, after a voyage of one month, and immediately thereafter made his way to Beaver County, Pennsylvania. He farmed in that county several years, then was located for a time at Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. In 1866 he located at Parker's Landing, and shortly after came on to Allegheny Township, Butler County.
