General Notes: Husband - William Gordon
He and his wife settled on a forest farm of 200 acres in Lackawannock Township, Mercer County, PA, where their nearest neighbor was two and a half miles distant. He served in the War of 1812 for some months under Gen. Harrison. Politically he was a Democrat, and a member of the Presbyterian Church of Mercer.
