General Notes: Husband - W. Russell Keefer

After his parents separated, much of his time was spent living alone. He was an excellent cook and housekeeper. He was a coal miner for a good number of years. After the local deep mines were all worked out, he was employed by Cooper-Bessemer, Grove City, PA, and also cultivated his farm near West Freedom, PA, where he and his wife resided. He commuted from his home to Grove City to work, until a high powered grinding wheel exploded, injuring him very badly. He was permanently disabled, but still tried to work on the farm.
