General Notes: Husband - Samuel Harding
He was a soldier in the revolutionary war and took part in the battle of Bennington. In 1790 he was living at Falmouth, Massachusetts, and according to the first federal census he had in his family three males over sixteen, one under that age, and three females. During the war of 1812 he was captain of a vessel in the government service on Lake Champlain. In about the year 1818 he was granted a pension which he drew during the remainder of his life; he died at the age of ninety-six years, having removed from Cape Cod to Bennington, Vermont, and thence to Sullivan, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
