General Notes: Husband - Henry Good

He was reared on the farm, and at the age of twenty-three left home and engaged in the leather and tanning business, which he followed for eight years. In 1847 he began farming near Waynesboro, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, in which occupation he remained ten years; then located on another place, where he then resided for thirty years of more.
He was connected for many years with the "old order" of the German Baptist Church. He was elected and served as county commissioner three years, from 1863 to 1866. He was a Republican in principle.

He and his first wife had thirteen children, four of whom were still living in 1887.
