General Notes: Husband - Amos C. Snyder
He was educated in the public schools, Carriers Academy and Lebanon University. For fourteen years he taught school during the winter months and in the farming months assisted his father. He later abandoned teaching and until 1905 cultivated the homestead farm. All through life he dealt in real estate and live stock, buying and selling as opportunity offered. In 1905 he moved to Clarion for better educational facilities for his children and in 1910 entered the United States mail service as rural mail carrier. In politics he was a Republican and in religion both he and his wife were members of the Presbyterian church.
