Marjory Girard Jacobs, 101, formerly of Emlenton, died January 15 in a Charlottesville, Va., hospital.
Mrs. Jacobs was born November 3, 1891, in Venango County.
She was married to Homer R. Jacobs. He died in 1975.
Mrs. Jacobs was an active member of the Presbyterian church, Eastern Star and Rebecca lodges, and a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
She was a long-time resident of Emlenton, moving from there in 1977.
Surviving are two daughters, Florence Kabir of White Hall, Va., and Martha Harkin of Austin, Texas; and seven grandchildren.
The body was cremated. The family is planning a memorial service in late spring.
