General Notes: Husband - Michael Spangler
He, with his wife Elizabeth and two sons, emigrated from Heidelberg, Germany, arriving at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Aug. 20, 1737, on the ship "Samuel," Hugh Percy, master, of Rotterdam. He purchased a tract of land in Heidelberg township, Lancaster (later Lebanon) County, from the original warrantee, where he settled. There he subsequently built a stone house. He died there, and with his wife and several of his children who died early, are buried in Tulpehocken Reformed Church graveyard.
