General Notes: Husband - Rev. John Anderson

He was born in Ireland. When he came to America he identified himself with the "McCoyites," was educated under their auspices, and ordained about 1822 by the Reformed Dissenting Presbytery of Ohio. He was for many years pastor of the Reformed Dissenting congregation of Clear Ridge. In August, 1853, he and his congregation united with the Second Presbytery of Ohio, Associate Reformed. He remained its pastor until his death, when his congregation joined the Associate Reformed, later United Presbyterian, congregation of Fairview, Guernsey County, Ohio, with the families of which it was intermixed.
