General Notes: Husband - David Hamilton


He married and came to Washington County, Pennsylvania, settling in South Strabane township, where he followed farming. He and his wife were members of the Presbyterian Church.

He came from Franklin County, Pennsylvania, to the Rich Hills of South Strabane Township, Washington County, in 1780, having been a soldier in the Revolutionary War. He acquired a large tract of land on the Rich Hills, on which he continued to reside until his death.
