General Notes: Husband - John Gibson

He was born in the Conecocheague valley, and came to the old Gibson farm some years prior to 1775, as in that year he came into possession of the land. Thomas Taylor made application for the warrant in 1769. It then passed through the hands of Brooker, Dixon, and Watt till the purchase of the tract by Mr. Gibson.
