General Notes: Husband - Samuel McCray Gibb
He was born in Leetsdale, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and attended the private school conducted by James McDonald. At the age of seventeen years he entered the railroad employ and for eighteen years was engaged as baggage master. In 1888 he moved to Sewickley, Pennsylvania, and in November, 1903, erected a handsome residence at No. 531 Strait street, where he then lived. A Republican in politics, he and his wife held membership in the Methodist Episcopal church.
