General Notes: Husband - James George
He was born in Ireland, and came to America in 1778, making his home at first in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. While there he married a young woman of Scotch-Irish descent. Later they came west and located in Loyalhanna township in Westmoreland County, where he took up two hundred and forty acres of land on the Loyalhanna creek. There he lived the remainder of his life, and died, leaving the old farm to his youngest son, William George.
He and his wife had nine children.
