General Notes: Husband - Robert Taylor


He was born in Centre County, Pennsylvania, later coming to Clarion County. He there grew to manhood and remained until 1842, when he moved to Venango county. He worked in the lumber woods during the winters, and in the summers worked in the local mines. He and his wife were members of the Meth­odist Episcopal church.
