General Notes: Husband - John Gearhart
He married and they moved to Clearfield County in 1820, and he became the owner of a tract of land there which he cleared and cultivated. In politics he was a Democrat, and in religion a devout Methodist. [CBRCP-CCJC, 652]
In 1824 he brought his family from Centre County, Pennsylvania, to Decatur township, Clearfield County.

She was born in 1792. At the time of her death she lacked only one month and nine days of her ninetieth birthday. [CBRCP-CCJC, 652] Hence, she must have died about 1882, not the year 1885, as given by the same source.
