General Notes: Husband - Henry Ambrose

He was born in Fulton County, Pennsylvania, and came to Westmoreland County, with the family, in 1790. The family homestead farm was located about two miles north of Ligonier, on Coal Pit Run. It came into the possession of Henry Ambrose in 1804 and he followed agricultural pursuits as his father had done before him. He was a member of the Lutheran church.

He and his wife had five sons and seven daughters.
