General Notes: Husband - James L. Garroway
He was born at Worthington, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania, and there obtained his education and grew to manhood. As soon as he left school, he learned the carpenter's trade, at which he worked for about eighteen years, up to the time that he entered into partnership with Mr. Greer in the box manufacturing business. Their plant was located on Kittanning Street, near the city limits; their enterprise developed into one of considerable magnitude. In politics he was a Republican. He served nine years as a member of the School Board.
