General Notes: Husband - John Gardner


His first wife died leaving him one son; he later removed to Illinois and married again.

He lived in Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, until after the death of his first wife, then settled at La Harpe, Hancock County, Illinois, where he was concerned in the movement that drove the Mormons from Illinois. He died when about eighty-one years old.
