General Notes: Husband - Easton Gardner
He grew to manhood in Rhode Island and there gained a manufacturing experience and became a master mechanic. He later located at North Wethersfield, New York, where he established woolen mills, being the pioneer woolen manufacturer of that section, there being then no other mills of that nature in New York outside of Buffalo. He spent the greater part of his life in North Wethersfield, but later in life went to Michigan, where he died. He was a Democrat, and a member of the Methodist Episcopal church, as was his wife.
