General Notes: Husband - Christian Good
He engaged in farming in Leitersburg District, Washington County, Maryland, where he owned 220 acres of land which he sold in 1817 to Stephen Martin, his son-in-law. He died a worthy, pious member of the old Mennonite faith.
He and his wife have their burial places marked by two rough marble tombstones, standing over three feet high, in the old family burying-ground, two miles east of Leitersburg, Maryland, on a part of the farm known as the "Steven Martin place." It is something rather remarkable that tombstones of this size should mark their burial place, while other stones of that date are generally very small.
