General Notes: Husband - Robert Galbraith
He was appointed Prothonotary for Bedford County, Pennsylvania, March 21, 1777; he was also Justice for the same county. In 1778, he removed to York, and there practiced law; he was a member of the Assembly from that county, and was appointed agent to sell the confiscated estates of the Tories; he returned to Bedford County in 1784, and November 28, 1787, was appointed President Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Huntingdon County; he was an officer in the Revolution, and served with honor to himself and country.
