General Notes: Husband - Charles Ellsworth Frantz

A few days before his 90th birthdate in 1978, he wrote:
As a young man, in the 1930's I was looking for work. I was given a job two days a week on the oil pipe line at Oil City, Pennsylvania. The foreman's name was Mr. France. When I received my pay for my first two days of work the check was made to Charles France. The job lasted quite a few years. I thought they thought I was a relative of the foreman and decided to keep that name.
