General Notes: Husband - Daniel Wray

He was born at Saltsburg, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, and was brought to Kiskiminetas township, Armstrong County, in 1820. Here he was reared on a farm, receiving his education in subscription school. In 1840 he commenced teaching school, continuing thus for six win-ters, and in the summer months worked on the farm. At the time of his death he was the owner of 165 acres of land. In politics, Mr. Wray was a stanch republican and took an active part in the interests of his party, but never aspired to political honors. He was a zealous church worker, belonging to the Presbyterian church at Elder's Ridge.
