General Notes: Husband - Samuel Graham


He received his education in the subscription schools of Spruce Hill township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania. On attaining manhood, he made farming his occupation, in which he continued throughout his life. He owned and cultivated 184 acres of land in Spruce Hill township, which he greatly improved. Mr. Graham held various township offices, including that of school director. He was a Whig, and subsequently became a member of the Know-Nothing party. He was a prominent member of the Academia Presbyterian church, of Beale township.
