General Notes: Husband - James A. Craig Thom
He was born in Clarion County, Pennsylvania, but was taken as a child to the state of Indiana. Returning in early manhood to Clarion County, he married. He was a lumberman, operating a saw mill in Elks County and engaging in the manufacture of lumber. Early in the Civil War he went to Brookville to enlist in the Eleventh Regiment, Pennsylvania Reserves, and was killed in the first day's battle of Fredericksburg.
