General Notes: Husband - Jonathan Furman
He was born in Northumberland County, Pennsylvania. He followed farming as a life work. He was a Whig in politics, and he and his wife were both members of the Baptist Church. [CBRCP-CCJC, 1102]
He was born in New Jersey and settled in Pennsylvania, first in Northumberland County and later in Clarion County, in 1825 making his home in Clarion Township, in the latter county, where he later died. He was drafted for service during the War of 1812, being with the army for three months at Marcus Hook, near Philadelphia. [HVC 1919, 863]
