General Notes: Husband - Samuel Davidson Rickenbrode
He was the youngest of his siblings. Until he was sixteen years old he stayed at home on the farm. He then spent four years in the oil region, after which he went into the lumber woods of Michigan. In 1865 he returned to his home and the same year he was married. He and his wife had a family of three children, only two of whom were living in 1887. Mr. Rickenbrode was a substantial farmer, owning one hundred and forty-five acres known as the Solomon Dale farm. The family were earnest members of the Evangelical Association. In politics Mr. Rickenbrode was a Republican.
