General Notes: Husband - Robert Fulton

He and his twin brother, Richard, resided on the old Fulton farm, located three-quarters of a mile west of Hunker, and nine miles south of Greensburg in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.

It would be difficult to find a more admirable example of brotherly affection and devotion than that given by the two Fulton brothers of Hunker, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. Richard Fulton was so unfortunate in early life as to lose his eye-sight in an accident, and from that time his brother Robert supplied the place of eyes to him and made it his one object in life to attend to the needs and comfort of his brother. To this end he gave up practically all of what most men hold dear. He never married and his entire life was concerned with doing, not only for his brother, but for all who came in contact with him.
