While still a young man he left his native country and came to the United States, making his way at once to Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, where he settled and married. The old Fulton house stood on a farm adjoining that on which James F. Logan later lived. Later in life Thomas Logan removed to Ohio, where he passed the remainder of his years.
