General Notes: Husband - Alexander Fullerton
He was born in Ohio, reared and educated there, and learned the trades of shoemaker and miller. Prior to his marriage he came to Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, and conducted a grist mill near Buena Vista and later at Millville. He then accepted a position with the C. P. Markle and S. B. Markle paper mills, remaining in their employ up to his decease, which was the result of injuries received by being caught in the machinery. He was a staunch Whig in politics, influential in the councils of the party, but never an office-seeker. Throughout the greater part of his lifetime he was an active worker in the Methodist Episcopal church.
