General Notes: Husband - Albert Price


He came to Mercer County, Pennsylvania, with his parents, and for a number of years engaged in teaching in the township schools of Mercer and Venango counties. After that he was principally engaged in farming. He was elected county auditor in 1847, and served three years. In 1861 he was elected county commissioner for three years. He also served two different terms as State auditor, and acted as justice of the peace for fifteen years. He was a member of the Masonic fraternity and of the I. O. O. F. He was always an ardent supporter of the Democratic party. [HMC 1888, 1105]
