General Notes: Husband - Solomon Frye

He was born in Washington County, Pennsylvania, where he followed farming for many years, after which he removed to the town of California, Pennsylvania, and kept a drug store. Politically he was a republican, and in religious faith he adhered to the teachings of the Disciple church.

He and his wife had nine children, of whom seven were still living in 1890, all being in the employ of railroad companies except Dr. James Frye.
