General Notes: Husband - John Adams Wilson
He received his preparatory education in the common schools and at Lawrenceville, New Jersey, and entered Prince-ton University, from which he was graduated in 1873. He studied law and was admitted to the bar in 1874, and after practicing his pro-fession for a few years, went into business connected with the Galena Oil Company, of Franklin, Pennsylvania, with which he was associated for over twenty-four years.

Mrs. Ida Gordon Wilson, widow of John A. Wilson, who was first cousin to ex-president, Woodrow Wilson, died Friday. Mrs. Wilson was born Oct. 26, 1853, in Oil City, but resided nearly all her life in Franklin, PA. She was married May 18, 1875, to Mr. Wilson who died in 1923.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Kathleen, who died June 1, 1908, in an auto accident. Two sons survive, Major Alfred McCalmont Wilson of Cumberland, PA, and Edwin Gordon Wilson of Franklin. Also surviving are two sisters Emma and Hattie.
