General Notes: Husband - John Mumma

He was of German descent and his ancestors were among the earliest pioneers of Pennsylvania, his great-grandfather having come from Switzerland to America to settle in Lancaster County, as early as 1731.

He and his wife were members of the Mennonite Church. They had a family of four sons and two daughters. Jacob was the second son and third child.
