General Notes: Husband - George Clifford Frank

He spent his youthful years in Ligonier, Pennsylvania, in school and in and about his father's bank, and when fifteen years of age, entered the bank establishment of T. Mellen & Sons, later the Mellon National Bank of Pittsburgh. He remained for six years, his purpose being to thoroughly master the best and most modern methods of banking. In 1898 he became cashier of the Bank of Ligonier, and retained the same position when the bank became a National bank. For some years, owing to the illness of his father, the management of the bank fell almost entirely upon him. At the death of his father, he was unanimously elected president of the National Bank of Ligonier.
