General Notes: Husband - Henry Weyand

He moved about 1826 to a farm in North Beaver township, then in Beaver and later in Lawrence county, Pennsylvania. He was a school teacher and a farmer, teaching in winter time both the English and German languages, and he resided on the same farm until his death.

He married and settled near Mount Jackson, Pennsylvania, and purchased a farm now known as the William Patterson farm. In his younger days, Henry Weyand taught schools during winters-teaching both German and English-and devoted his summers to working his farm. He was a man of prominence in his community, and served many years as constable. His death occurred at the age of fifty-two years, three months, and nine days.
