General Notes: Husband - John T. Gibson
Civil War: he was in company E, 2d battalion Pennsylvania volunteers for six months, and in company B, 11th Pennsylvania reserve corps for two years. He was taken prisoner and recaptured on the next day.
He was clerk of the county commissioners [Indiana County, Pennsylvania] for four years. Beginning in 1879, he was in the mercantile and hotel business in Cookport.
