General Notes: Husband - Patrick Mullen

He was born in Ireland, and when nine years of age accompanied his parents to America, the family locating in Centre County, Pennsylvania, where his father died, and where he himself was reared. He was married in Erie County, and made his home there until after the birth of his children. In 1830 he came to Clearfield County, purchased a small tract of land, erected a home thereon, and continued to improve his property until his death. He was a shoemaker by trade, and followed that pursuit throughout his life.
