The dates of birth for this man and his father are given by the source, but one must wonder if there is a generation missing between them.

He was educated in Salem County, New Jersey, and there conducted farming operations until after his marriage. He resided at Norwich, Pennsylvania, then bought a farm in Keating township, which he cultivated until his retirement from active labor. He was a Democrat in politics, and an active worker, with his wife, in the Baptist church.
