General Notes: Husband - Charles F. Goehring
He was born on the family homestead in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. After reaching his majority he received 100 acres of land from his father, on which he settled. He resided on this farm down to 1884, then removed to Zelienople, built a residence, and engaged in the coal business, which he followed for three years. He next established a business of dealing in flagging and cut stone. After becoming a resident of Zelienople, he built several private residences in that borough. He was a Republican in politics, was a member of the borough council, and also held the office of treasurer and street commissioner. For some years he was an elder in the Lutheran church of Zelienople.
