General Notes: Husband - Jacob B. Flick
He was born on his father's farm in Middle-sex township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, received a common school education, and learned the blacksmith's trade, at which he worked for thirty-three years, in connection with farming. In 1858 he purchased the John Criner farm in Middlesex township, on which he thereafter resided. He was a member of the Presbyterian church, was a trustee and Sabbath school superintendent, and was a member of the session. Politically, he was a Republican, and was constable and collector of his township.
Mr. Flick was a descendant of one of the first settlers of western Pennsylvania.
