General Notes: Husband - A. A. Perkins
He was educated in the common schools. In 1854 he engaged in the milling business, and in 1866 purchased a mill in Webster, Pennsylvania, where he developed an extensive trade. He steadfastly adhered to the Republican party and was an elder in the Presbyterian church.
