General Notes: Husband - Henry Viehmier
His boyhood was spent in Germany, where he obtained a public school education. At the age of fourteen years he came to the United States, settling in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and there learned the trade of machinist. He worked at his trade in Pittsburgh until 1873, then located on a farm of sixty acres in McCandless township, Allegheny County, on which he resided until 1878, then moved to Pittsburgh East End, where he again worked at his trade for three years. He was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, and in politics a Republican.
General Notes: Wife - Caroline Flaccus
She survived her husband, residing on the farm she brought her husband, inherited from her father, also owning the old Flaccus homestead in Lawrenceville, Pennsylvania, where her youth was passed. She was a member of Highland Presbyterian Church of Perrysville.
