General Notes: Husband - William Fisher

He was born in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, but when quite young came to Westmoreland County, settling in Mt. Pleasant township. He was a farmer, but being a man of more than ordinary genius he was also successful as a distiller, cooper and blacksmith. Believing in the principles of democracy he did good service for that party but never aspired to office. He was connected with the Reformed church.

He had four children with his third wife; two were still living in 1890.
