General Notes: Husband - Thomas E. Taylor
He received his education in the district schools of Worth Township, Butler County, Pennsylvania, and also attended Plain Grove Academy in Lawrence County. He farmed on the home place until 1884 and then went to Coaltown, Cherry Township, where he remained for 17 years in the employ of the Union Coal & Coke Company. In 1902 he went with the Sharon Coal & Limestone Company, and remained with that concern for 17 years. Mr. Taylor was extensively interested in the coal business and owned mines in Muddy Creek Township, Butler County.
Politically, Mr. Taylor was a Republican. He and his family were members of the Methodist church.
