General Notes: Husband - John H. Wilson

He was raised to milling and lumbering. As a miller, he was connected with Samuel Wilson’s mill, four miles from Clarion town, McKinzeys, Sugarcreek township, Venango County, and Lake creek, Cooperstown, Venango County. His lumbering operations were on the Clarion and Allegheny rivers. He kept a grocery store in Cooperstown for seven years, and while residing there served as constable two years. He was elected a Justice of the Peace, but declined the honor. In April, 1878, he took charge of the National Hotel.
He and his wife had four children, two boys and two girls.
