General Notes: Husband - Walter Simon Wible
He was educated in the public schools of his native city, and later attended the University of Pennsylvania, taking there the course in law. He was graduated from this institution with the class of 1902, and was immediately thereafter admitted to the Westmoreland County bar. Since that time he has also been admitted to practice before all the courts of the State. He began practice in his native city of Greensburg in association with the well known firm of Atkinson & Peoples. The senior partner, Mr. Atkinson, died in the year 1910, after which time Mr. Peoples and Mr. Wible were associated in the practice of law. He was active in general legal affairs and was a member of the Westmoreland Bar Association. He was regarded as one of the leaders among the young men in politics in that part of the state and allied himself with the local organization of the Republican party, with whose principles and policies he was in entire accord. He was a delegate to the State Convention and rapidly became an important factor in the political affairs of the county. Mr. Wible was also prominent in the social and fraternal circles of the community, and was a member of Lodge No. 518, Free and Accepted Masons, and of the local lodge, Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.
He was a member of the Second Reformed Church in Greensburg, and his wife was a Presbyterian.
