General Notes: Husband - James Milford
He was born in County Antrim, Ireland, and immigrated to the United States in 1807. After a varied career he located in Mercer county, Pennsylvania, removed to Clay township, Butler county, about 1824, and in 1827 settled in Marion township, on a farm later owned by his son Samuel F. He cleared and improved this property, and resided upon it until his death. He was a member of the Associate Reformed church, afterwards the United Presbyterian, and in politics, he was a Republican.
