General Notes: Husband - John Kinter
He served as a private soldier during the Revolutionary War under four enlistments, during the period from 1777 to 1780.
He served three terms of three months each in the patriot army during the American Revolution, and died in his eighty-second year.
In 1808 he removed from Centre County, Pennsylvania, to what is now Rayne township, Indiana County, settling near Kintersburg and Kinter hill, the highest point in the township, which were named after him. Here he resided, engaged in agricultural pursuits, during the remainder of his life.
