General Notes: Husband - John Gallagher, Jr.
He was born in Ireland, and came with his parents to Butler county, PA. He finally settled on a part of the land entered by his father, who gave him 100 acres, and he resided there down to his death. The farm was later in the possession of his son Thomas, and the original log house was still standing. Mr. Gallagher and his wife were members of the United Presbyterian church. He was a member of Captain Boston's company in the War of 1812.
